The air seems a lot fresher than what I'm used to breathing. It is a cool day, the sun not burning bright, but not covered by grey clouds either. I am clearly in a school, though it is definitely not the one that I do go to, since the color scheme of the place and the mere size of it greatly differs. The school is full white in colour, with long walkways and wide corridors. I'm running on what appears to be the roof of the school, a flat expanse that is not obstructed by any walls. I'm with a close friend, Yoko, and we are both running, making our way back to our classroom. What bemuses me in this dream, is the fact that though I have never seen this place in my life, I am still able to navigate my way around like a person can get into their bed in their room blindfolded.
As we run in the direction that should be where my classroom is situated, a shape is cast against the area directly above where we are running. We both look up, and point and amazement and delightful interest at the strange figure soaring past us up in the sky. It looks like some sort of plane, with yellow wings and a white body with a black head. It brings me much enjoyment, and we stay and watch it move through the sky until it is merely a tiny dot on the horizon. The sky itself is a sight to behold. The lightest, yet warmest tint of blue possibly in existence, with soft, marshmellow looking clouds that float around lazily in the blue expanse. The further up you look, the deeper and clearer the sky gets, and nearer to the bottom the clouds form large clusters, making it seem like the sky has become a paint pallete. It's the type of sky that you wish you could dive into, or take a picture of, but know that even the camera would not be able to capture the breathtaking view that your eyes are blessed to see.
A small rectangular space in the roof opens up somewhere in the middle of a round curve that we are running on. It leads directly to a winding staircase (also marble white in colour) that has a shiny black banister, and snakes all the way down to the ground floor. However, we stop short of the bottom floor by about three flights, and turn left to head to our classroom, where we see a teacher and many students abuzz with one another.
I am given a slip of paper the moment I enter the room, and see that it is a result slip of some sorts. Though I never do get to read the contents of the paper in detail, I do know that whatever I read on it fills me with joy, and the unsurpressable urge to tell my parents of the good news.
The scene suddenly changes, and I find myself at a warehouse with a railway track in the middle of the place. It is a large place, but it does not store any goods or items wrapped up in boxes and placed on shelves. It is full of stalls of all sorts, and there is a sea of people. The atmosphere is lively and bustling with activity, and I soon catch on to the mood of the place as I, too, start to feel active and happy. As soon as I see my parents, I realise that I have been brought here in celebration of whatever good thing was on the slip of paper. I run around the place exitedly, looking around at all the things people have to sell, but never buying any. Through the throng of people, my ear picks up sounds of laughter and music.
I follow the sound, to see a large crowd standing around in a large empty space just a short distance away from the stalls. I walk over in curiosity, and realise that in the middle of that crowd is a cabaret. There is a woman with platinum blonde hair wearing a tight suit that looks like a corset at the top with puffy, hot shorts. The entire piece is vertically striped black and white, and she has on the deepest shade of red that any human could possibly posess on one pair of lips. She runs around the circle of people laughing and singing, and the crowd responds with laughter and cheers. The moment she sees me, she walks over to me and looks me in the eye. She gives me a dazzling smile, one that screams supreriority but also respect, and above all, cheekiness. She suddenly stretches out her petite, buttersoft hand, and grabs mine. She drags me into the middle of the place, and starts twirling me around. At this point, I'm not sure exactly how to respond, but seeing her cheerful face, and hearing the amused laughter coming fromt the crowd, I lose myself in the music and the fun and just twirl with her. My body feels light, and so does my mind. It feels as though all the things that I have been thinking about, all the little details that we have to keep track of in real life, have suddenly floated away in the midst of cabaret music.
